What we collect

We collect the public Bitcoin address and display name you submit; pack membership and founder records; miner connection, worker, hashrate, share, difficulty, status, and block data; payout and audit records; authentication tokens; and technical security data such as IP address, timestamps, request records, and security strikes. We do not request private keys or seed phrases.

Why and lawful basis

We use this information to provide the mining service, identify pack members, measure activity, create block and payout records, secure the platform, prevent abuse, diagnose faults, and meet legal obligations. Our lawful bases are performance of our agreement with you, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service, and compliance with legal obligations.

Sharing and international processing

Public wallet addresses and Bitcoin transactions may be visible permanently on the Bitcoin blockchain. Pack names, display names, mining status, and statistics may be visible to website users. We may use hosting, infrastructure, security, and professional service providers that process data for us. Data may be processed outside your country where our infrastructure or providers operate, subject to safeguards required by applicable law. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

Operational records are retained while needed to provide and secure the service. Routine server and security logs are retained according to operational log rotation and incident needs. Confirmed block, reward, payout, and related audit records may be retained long-term or indefinitely where required for accounting, dispute, fraud-prevention, or legal purposes. Public blockchain records cannot be deleted by us.

Storage on your device

The website uses browser storage for your session and preferences. This is necessary to keep you connected and operate the service. We do not currently use advertising cookies on the mining platform.

Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection. Some requests may be limited by security, legal, accounting, or immutable blockchain requirements. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office or your local data-protection authority.

Security and contact

We use technical and organisational safeguards, but no internet service is risk-free. Never send us a private key or seed phrase. To exercise a privacy right, contact wolfpackminers@protonmail.com and identify the public wallet address concerned.
